If you watch out from our rooftop and have a look at the coast you will immediately see just in front of you a big sandy orange rock known by everyone as Devil’s Rock, an islet near the beach. When you ask surfers about it, they would tell you it is a safe spot to learn and improve surfing levels. This point break to the right o the beach can hold good surprises although not as consistent as the other points in the area. Great for starters offering punchy lefts and rights with a mainly sandy bottom.
If you are not a surfer you can just have a walk on the top of the rock and enjoy an amazing 360° view on the Taghazout Bay, enjoying a Maroccan tea at one of the different bars you can find on the coast or eating some seafood. And don’t forget this is an amazing spot to enjoy beautiful sunsets at the beach with friends or alone. But be aware on Sundays can be pretty crowded.
